This website is for the thousands of former pupils,
Masters and teachers who attended the above educational establishments. Delve inside to see hundreds of photographs and
other treasures! - from school magazines to biographies of distinguished pupils.
The website contains contacts from all over the world including America, Australia Canada & New Zealand amongst many many
others.
This site contains an e-mail directory upon which former pupils are listed by the year they started secondary
School aged 11. For indexing purposes the education admission year which runs from 1st September to 31st August
has been used.
For example former pupils born between 1st September 1956 and 31st August
1957 will be 1968 starters. This criterion is applicable even if the former pupil only
attended the 6th Form.
The website has been of assistance in the organisation of several School Reunions and to date has reunited several hundreds
of former pupils who had lost touch with their school day friends.
The website has won an award from "BT in the Community" of £1500 which was proudly presented to the School for the benefit
of present day pupils.
In 2003 the website was instrumental in the placing of a plaque in the Schools Memorial Room to the memory of former pupil
Gerald Richardson who was shot and murdered in Blackpool in August 1971 whilst trying to apprehend criminals who had robbed jewellers in Blackpool Town Center.
In 2004 the website ventured in to the realms of fundraising holding simultaneously treasure hunts in Blackpool and online.
The events raised £310 for ChildLine the children"s charity.
