19.11.00	I found your site by chance and very interesting it is too. My father attended the school in the thirties the exact dates I cannot confirm but I can offer the following information. He gained a scholarship from Devonshire Road school approx 1930, his date of birth was 13 May 1917. He told me that he attended at the same time as Vernon Humpage and Alistair Cook(e) ? although I don't know if they were in the same class. My father's name Arthur Edward Turner, I think he lived on Layton Road at the time. Anybody with any recollections is welcome to email me address below.
