| message contents: | Just found this web site via the 1960 photo not many of me to the pound then! I've just trawlwed through the archives and only Alan Kershaw has written in from my year. Fond memories of trips to Greystones, Ireland; Blackpool Sands, Devon and "caving" and Geology excursions with Mr Fielden in his first year there. Remember the aircraft engine (gift from the R.A.F?) dumped on the site at Highfurlong. Unlike the slaves of old we could'nt move and it became bogged down. Sold for scrap some months later! Any chance of a 1958 reunion for the boys? Regards to all my bashful colleagues including Graham Hollows and John Mendes.... now Southerners! |

| message contents: | I now live in Toronto Ont. Canada since 1957 but would love to hear from classmates from my year which I reckon would be 1945. I am in front of Mrs Robinson on the whole school photo 25th anniversary. I found Mavis Pegg on it but cannot positively identify others. I had a poem subject "Time" in the school magazine but do not have a copy. If anyone has it I would like to show my kids(six of them!)Thanks in advance to any one who can give me any help on getting in touch etc. |

| message contents: | A criticism for those who "desperately seek their friends they went to school with". It's a bit rude leaving a message requesting (and naming!) the whereabouts and wherefores of an old friend when they aren't prepared to follow the trail through (Peter Armistead, take note!). If I say where I am and what I'm up to after someone else's request, then you must expect the same in return. This has to be a two-way street otherwise it's all extremely unsatisfying. You want me to show you mine??! So show me yours!! |
