| message contents: | I went to Arnold School but in 1947 I met Margaret Jones, nicknmaed Miggs, who went to the Collegiate school. She lived at Bispham. We went out ogether until 1949 when I joined the RAF and we lost touch. I tghink she went to Australia in 1952. | message contents: | It is 'rumoured' that there maybe some get-togethers this summer for 65ers celebrating their 50th. this year. Dave Waterworth tells me he's thinking about a cricket match for one event. Regardless, I'm planning on flying in from Vancouver, Canada, sometime during the first half of August. | message contents: | Met up with Andrew Bee (left BGS 1970) and Liz Wilson (Arnold) last night. Had not seen either of them for nearly 30 years. It was good to recall memories of the 60s and 70s, fellow school pals and some of the activities we used to get up to!!! Plan to meet up again in about 2 months if any one else is interested. |
