| message contents: ; | Just looked at the photo of U13 Rugby team for 1965 starters. So many memories, like running naked through Stoneyhurst College and look what happened there!! The grey cells are going though and there many names and faces that I've long since forgotten. I'm living in Bury these days but still call Blackpool home and can be found at Bloomfield Rd on Saturdays. |

I'd like to arrange a 1957 starters' reunion but we need more 1957 Collegiatites. Where are you all? You must be out there somewhere. Please get in touch if you're interested - or even if you're not! |

The biggest coincidence is that her son and mt daughter met each other in Brighton and are soon to be married. We had no idea there were any connections for about a ye\ar after they met. Julia now lives about 10 miles from us so we see each other regularly! Who says that the old Colegians are not a special bunch? |

My memory of names and people from school is very poor, but I must know John as I do remember the Blue room - every night let alone Friday night. I also remember seeing Queen supporting an act - but I think it was Mott the Hoople at Lancaster Uni. If anybody remembers me send me an email. |

| message contents: ; | First time I've found this website. Nice to see photos of the days when I had hair. Been a long time since I saw anybody from the school, and haven't had opportunities to visit the 'Pool very often recently (although I was at Bloomfield Road last week to see us beat Swindon). The Blue Room on Friday nights is not what it was!! Does anyone remember the trips someone used to organise to gigs in the early 70's? I remember trips to see Quo and Yes at Manchester Free Trade Hall and a couple to the Guildhall in Preston - did I dream it or did we see Queen supporting Nazareth there once? If anybody is out there, please get in touch. |

| message contents: ; | Hi! I've just discovered this site and would love to hear from anyone who remembers Julia Marquis. Barbara Meadows I will look out a photo I saw recently of you playing Hockey. I am now semi retired and moved 12 months ago with my husband, peter Scotland, from Cardiff to West Sussex to live near my 30+ year old sons, their partners and grand daughter. I am doing locum work still as a speech and language therapist, specialising in autism. I miss one name off the list of 1953 starters Carol Martin: was she not head girl? Her father was, I believe, head master of Baines boys' grammar school. |

| message contents: ; | I was supposed to be at the Squirrel Hotel for the impromptu drinks reunion of former classmates from 1956 starter year. Sorry - couldnt break away and apologies to those that did. No question 1956 was a vintage year and our class surpassed all others in ill-discipline, noises off stage for the classroom next door in raikes parade - and most numbers of boys lined up outside Luft's corner study! Nonetheless remember it all fondly and will get my pints in on the next occasion. John Woodman, Oxford |

I was thrilled to find this site as a result of contact from Carole Kendellen (nee Threlfall) who emailed me via www.friends reuntied.com site. It was great to see the old photo of 1961 wondering what has happened to so many people one has lost contact with. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me. Some of those in my class were Marjorie Davis (she was head girl 61/62) Brenda McRudden, Susan Clewes, Margaret Brown (Mugsy) Marilyn Rueben, Charlotte Blackshaw, Lorraine Green, Margaret Smith, Mirian Anyon to name but a few.I am in regular contact with Margaret Preston (now Thevenot) I have so many happy memories of my days at Collegiate - Miss Burns and Amahl and the Night Visitors The music festivals when the choir always seemed to win. Does any one remember the dancing classes we had with the BGS? What a highlight of the week that was. I now live in leafy Bucks taught for 20 years but was drawn into business with my husband. I have two daughters and two granddaughters. |

Am still living in Blackpool but living and working in Farnborough, Hants during the week. Had a short spell playing soccer in Australia and am now married with three children. Still see one or two renegades around town at weekends including Dave Mannion and John Howker. Am still in touch with Gary Hudson (now living in N Yorkshire. Am currently IT Services Director for BAE SYSTEMS, but 1 Alpha Form Captain is still the most responsible job I've ever had. Would be pleased to hear from any old boys who wish to get in touch, apart from those to whom I still owe money. Caught up with one or two at the 1999 reunion (forced to attend by Dave Standing, who threatened me with not fixing my video) Congrats on an excellent site. Roy Dobson |
