| message contents: ; | I would love to hear from any of the Collegiate girls who 'fraternised' with the boys from Baines Grammar in Poulton in the late 60's and up to 71'. I was at Baines from 1964-1971. and have some great memories of those heady days. Your site is great. I don't think Baines are even on the web yet. Cheers. Phil. |

| message contents: ; | For those who attended BGS from 1956 to 1962 and who recall a somewhat spotty semi serious type who liked Art, English, History and Geography and well recalls Messrs Lander, Rigby, Gibbs, Murdoch, Topping, Marsh, et al - I welcome hearing from anyone who was party to the somewhat boistrous class of 1B and then 2C,3C 4C and 5C which I inhabited thru those years. Great days. John Woodman, Oxford |

| message contents: ; | Just found the site by accident and started to wallow in the memories. In answer to an earlier posting SFMS was the full title and it was the sixth form mocking society. Providing immunity from prosecution is in force as it ws more than 20 yars ago I can reveal the names of the window whitewashers as Slim Bamber and his mate Bob who didn't even go to the school but worked with me and Slim at his Dads fish and chip shop. Note I'm admitting to nothing. For those who know me I'm still married to Pam (Benson) and have a son Ian who is following in the rugby footsteps having signed for Warrington (where I live)Rugby League team, currently in the Aademy. Hope to contact one or two of the names seen on the message board in the near future. |
