The website was entered into the BT in the Community competition and was successful in winning a prize of £1,500

Martin collected the award at a ceremony held at BT Headquarters in July 2001

The prize was handed over to the, then, headteacher Mr Keith Clark on 16th July 2001.

The only disappointment was that the local press did not cover the story
