Katherine proudly carries the Queens Jubilee Baton.
Katherine Roe was chosen as one of Blackpools Community Heros to carry the Queens Jubilee Baton on its countrywide trip to Manchesters Commenwealth Games.

The Meliora Website is delighted that Katherine has been recognised by a Town who she serves so well.

Katherine was nominated by the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmens Families Association Forces Help for the voluntary work which she does for the group, also for her voluntary work with the Lancashire Partnership Against Crime, for her voluntary service as an officer with the Lancashire Constabulary Specials, as voluntary secretary of Woman Influencing Safer Environments, and in her roles as the clerk to the North West Young People's Development Trust and Chairwoman of Lancashire Juvenile Liason Association.
